Qatar Airways has announced plans to resume services to Malta this summer.


From July 2,the Doha, Qatar-based airline will operate four weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) to the European island nation in the Mediterranean Sea.


According to Qatar Airways, the airline will offer an early morning departure from Doha - around 0205H  - operating as QR381 for the outbound and QR383 for the return every Wednesday and Friday. The second set of flights – QR382/QR384 – will depart Doha later in the morning (1015H) every Wednesday and Friday.  


In a statement, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executiev Officr Eng. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said“Qatar Airways is delighted to announce the resumption of our flights to Malta, which marks a vibrant addition to our robust European network. Qatar and Malta enjoy staunch economic ties, and our operational relaunch to the country only furthers our relationship.”


With the addition of Malta, Qatar Airways' network in Europe will cover 50 destinations.
